She tried to move, to speak/call out/scream, but her limbs felt like lead, frozen in place by an invisible hand/force/grip. Her mind raced, desperate for reason/understanding/clarity amidst the growing terror. Then, a sudden wrench/jerk/pull on something around her neck, cutting off her air/breath/oxygen. She was fighting/struggling/battling, but against what? Against whom? The world dissolved into a blurry chaos of pain and fear before she finally awoke, gasping/coughing/shuddering, the lingering taste of terror heavy on her tongue.
The Silent Suffocation, A Voice Emerges from the Dark
It unfolds as a gentle tightening on your chest. You struggle to breathe, but each inhale of oxygen is met with a wall. The world beside you dissolves into a foggy emptiness, and your eyesight grows cloudy.
